Our story

Before settling down in Madarao-Tangram, we spent more than 20 years skiing and working throughout Japanese mountains, supporting local mountain guides to offer their services to foreign skiers and snowboarders for the first time, and assisting foreign travel agencies in planning their ski itineraries in Japan as well as acting as their local guides for their customers.
In 2020, La Colina was founded by a group of Japanese and long-term foreign residents to share our ❤️ for the mountains.

• 100% renewable electricity sourced
• Recycling and waste sorting. Each apartment has a separate bin for burnable waste and plastic packaging, and you can put pet bottles, glass bins, and cans in designated places.
