🌞 For the first time this season, we had three straight days of clear skies and no snow! Much-needed time to snow clearing around #lacolinaretreat and prep for the next storm cycle. ❄️

But it wasn’t all work—today was perfect for a backcountry tour to Kurohime volcano! ⛷️🏔️ As usual, the north-facing chute in the crater had the best snow, and despite the sunny days, the turns were great all the way down to the parking lot! 🔥

🏂✨ Before hitting the slopes for the first time this season, one of our clients knew the importance of a well-prepared snowboard. His board had been in storage since last season and hadn’t received proper waxing since its purchase last year. He reached out to #madaraowax , and we promptly serviced his gear with our comprehensive refresher tune-up:

• Base Grind: Removed oxidation and refinished the base.
• Edge Grind & Detune: Eliminated rust, sharpened, and polished the edges.
• Base Brushing: Employed multiple brush grades to clear particles and open pores for optimal wax absorption.
• Base Saturation: Applied base prep wax with an iron, followed by meticulous scraping and brushing.
• Waxing: Utilized an IR waxer with the client’s choice of hot wax, finishing with nylon and horsehair brush polishing.
